Wrong colour for a Litespeed (Merlin's are always satin Ti finish and Litespeeds they polish the hell out of) and it does have Merlin decals...the dropouts are a giveaway....Newsboy would know for sure (I'm no Merlin expert....)

Looks very 'kin dodgy to me :shock: If its an XLM or similar then that's £1500+ of bike there.....

I don't think it's an XLM.

It may be an older Mountain.

There is something fishy here.

That's not a stock Merlin disc mount either. Although the dropout looks right ish for the straight guage frames. (Mountain).

Hmm. Something looks a bit ugly about the head tube welding too. Not quite neat enough if you know what i mean? Or maybe it's just the pic.

Bit of an odd ad anyway.
