US only

Why are so many people from the US and Canada so reluctant so sell and send to Europe?
It is very common for Ebay US that loads of very nice bikes and parts only are available to the US/Canada.
I'm aware that shipping/postage is not cheap but I'm sure that most people are willing to pay these costs in addition to the price of the item.

I often wonder the same thing... :(

Saying that, what surprises me even more are the ridiculous shipping prices that some US ebayers expect to charge, I was forced to shell out $150 shipping for a frame a while back (stupid, I know), turns out that is cost $70 when I received it

From my perspective, I have listed things on eBay that have subsequently been 'won' by people in Germany, Italy, France, etc (not the UK I might add) and have had to re-list due to them trying to negotiate the shipping.. in the end, its just not worth it, unless the potential buyer emails me first..

debated many times , but they use courriers a lot in the us as it is easier than post offices and it cost a lot of money .

When did they change to top routed cables and is seatpost slippage common?
Mine is a fairly snug fit with a Thomson 27.2mm post and would be surprised if it moved

Why not register with a courier firm yourself and arrange the pick and shipping yourself?

most need a minimum order, IE weekly amount to be able to get a propper account.

I would be curious about the slipping seat tube issue (if it even is an issue).

I had a Kona Explosif with an original 27.0mm factory Kona seatpost and it did slip since day one on every ride. However a 27.2mm Syncros ended up fitting and working perfectly. Not too tight of a fit either. Odd....
