You went to Balkbrug for this one?

Isnt it too large for you? I have made him an offer a while back hè refused.... How is the headshock?

Looking forward what your plans are?

Cheers
Martin

Yes I did Martin,

it is a bit big for me, although I used the bike to get to work this morning and it didn't feel big at all.
The Headshock works perfect, very comfortable
Immaculate condition,.. great bike, the build quality is amazing.
If it is a keeper ,.. i don't know,...

I was searching on the internet for the "custom" thing on this Merlin. I only could find this one being a fat ti. Could it be this one is real custom and has f.e. a shorter toptube?

Re:

Strange geometry with a very horizontal tube…
First Fat ti were being made in 1999 (without disc tabs), and the first prototypes (a friend got one) were built around 1997.
What's serial number ? Perhaps it was made earlier for a custom built…

But congratulation. It's my (modern) favorite bike for riding in hard grounds

It wasn't a stock frame, so therefor they might have put the custom sticker on.
The info on these Fat Ti's is very thin ,..

That's just an amazing looking Merlin regardless of whether it's an original custom Fat Ti or not and i'd be over the moon if i had it in my stable ;) ..
