Mer Leather Cleaner

Anybody used leather cleaners on your saddles...I have a red Flite which is tear free but has plenty of ground in dirt marks....anyone used leather cleaners like Mer ? Results?

I've used Nikwax leather cleaner and proofer before. When proofed your saddle gets a bit slippery for a week or so

Did it remove deep down stains

Do you guys have Mr. Clean Magic Erasers over there? I used one on a white Turbo with some grease stains and it worked well.

If it is really dirty, use horse tack cleaner. If not, then Autoglym leather cleaner & cream works really well. I've cleaned the sofa which STANK of cigarette smoke and was really filthy and it came up sweet smelling and quite literally squeaky clean!

+1 for autoglym leather cleaner.Bought it for the car and sofa and now for the flites.However, they are not that dirty.But it does give them a nice shine.

Beware of leather polishes that have colour in them.Got some yellow for a yellow flite , and it brought it up a treat.Unfortunately it also came off onto my new shorts.

A lot of people swear by leather products for horse saddles.Those things do cost silly money and need to be maintained properly.

You can still find red ones new as well... I found a few stateside when tracking down white one's

And if you only need a little cleaner, let me know and I'll send you up a sample .
