Measuring a Yeti frame?

How was the frame size of a mid-90's Yeti measured?

Was it centre to centre, centre to top of top tube or centre to top of seat tube?

Yes, Yeti weren't great at conveying that info in the catalogues were they?
If you have a look at something like this, they mention the frame size, but not how they measured it.

So, I have had a look at my 16" 1995 Kokopelli (bought new as a 16", with 16" on the sales receipt; verified as 16" with the 22.6" TT), and compared with an earlier Pro FRO, also a 16", and I can conclude:
Size is measured from the top of the BB shell to the very top of the seat tube.
Centre to centre in both cases gives a measurement of 15"
