MC1 Klein Attitude w/ odd rasta themed paint

Re:

I've not had any reply either, must be fire and heat damage surely, looking at the discolouration and blistering?

I'm not up on my Kleins but regardless it has to be remembered that even on our beloved forum people seem unsure what nos means................and don't get me started on 'nearly nos' :roll:

The tin of creosote description does indeed seem spot on :lol:

So if NOS is 'new old stock' and NIB is 'new in box', is 'new out box' NOB?

Re:

I had a reply;

hello,

It is not a fire dammage becasue joints and stickers are in very nice condition.

thanks.

I'm not convinced, and it's upto nearly a £1k.

Interesting. If I was asked a question like that, I'd be more likely to reply something like "it's not damaged at all. It's NOS.". If the stickers being in "nice condition" means that they're inconsistent from fork leg to fork leg, etc. then I think something is getting lost in translation.

Re:

Maybe it is just the box that suffered from fire.

The frame only got heated up to have bubbles in all the known areas where Kleins driven for real show bubbling. At least mine does (original paint since 1996).

The received answer is in "defense mode". I fully agree with SF_Klein that if frame was NOS musik answer would have been accurate and precise to the point.
