MBK Super Record HPF

It's finally done. I fussed over parts for the past 10 months, and in the end I decided upon a mish-mash of old and new with a 1x9 drivetrain. The crank arms and rims are mirror-polished, and I'm guessing they look totally obnoxious to other riders in the sunlight. Last night I took the bike on the local Wednesday Night Worlds, and it absolutely flew. That is until my legs revolted on me for having to push a 55t chainring up the climbs.

A friend of mine had a magnesium Merida with the lower attached seatstays(smaller rear triangle) and the frame cracked apart at the back of the seatpost which i felt was caused by the lack of support that seatstays offer that area. I see the MBK has a little bit of top tube still there though.

Right on, the BMC Racemaster definitely reminds me of this MBK. A sticker on the frame states that it was welded together using inexternal brazing, which is apparently stronger. The bike certainly feels plenty stiff.
