Hi, anyone know anything about MB of Dronfield frames, I think the shop was called MB cycles of Dronfield. I'm wondering who built the frames and what became of the shop. I understand that Malc Elliott won the Milk Race on one, but I can't seem to find out any more info.

Andy Middlemiss and Vernon Barker. Very popular frames in the 80's especially, built on the premises. Vernon is still involved in frame building etc. in Dronfield I think. I had an M&B racing tandem in the 80's - superb.

Yes, Malc Elliott did ride their frames as an amateur - as did many other top riders of the day.

Thanks, I've been in email contact with Vernon Baker, who has been very helpfull.
