Maybe not retro but How Much is my Kona Nunu worth? (pic)

Hi All,

Not sure if this is in the right section (Mods please move it if not)

I need to sell some of my bikes, and unfortunately the Kona NuNu has to go, I've never sold an old/retro bike before so have no idea on how much I should sell it for.

I was directed to this site by a mate who said you clue'd up folks might be able to help.


I think it's a 2000 model, mostly factory spec (I think) but the rear mech looks new so maybe not the original, it was serviced last summer just before I got it.

The previous owner was Canadian so Imported from there when he came over, he got it for his wife but she only rode it twice as she said it was too scary to ride a bike in central London (where they live).

I myself only rode it a hand full of times and always stored indoors in the spare room

In very good Condition with two very light surface scratches and a few small chips mainly on the decals.

Any more info on bike and help appreciated.

All of the parts are pretty low-end so it probably won't go for very much. Your best bet would be to sell it locally to someone young. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

Naah not bad news at all, I know it's not worth 100's, I was offered £100 for it but thought that was a bit low?

just been advised by someone that I should advertise it for between £150 and £200, is that right? or too high?

I've got loads of other bits which I can upgrade it with, Mx comps, Lx chainset and mech's etc, but thought I'd try and sell it as-is, in it's original spec as it's so clean and in very good condition.

Probably between £100-£125 would be my best guess.

yeah about 125 at most i have one of these i built up for the missus built into a really nice little bike with high spec bits on it. keep it and upgrade it mate!
