Well I was going to wait until I managed to get a rear spox but winter is on its way anyway. Sooo I'm selling a pair of wheels, mavic X517 SUP rims, in good condition and silver, one of the sticker has started to peel of slightly other than that though they're great. Rear hub is a XTR not sure of the year but is the XTR Grey, and front hub is a pace with the carbon centre, flanges on that are xtr grey so matches nicely. Doesn't include cassette ant tyres Looking for £120 plus postage, if I'm out on the price somebody let me know, but someone on here said they were worth around that ages ago in the how much is my XYZ worth section.

What's deal with the axel on the Pace-never noticed that style of axel end, how does it work/what's the threaded part for?

There's a thread through both holes and you havw to thread the skewer part way through it, no idea why though guess maybe its extra security as the q/r can't just fall out, I'm sure someone who knows more about the pace stuff will have an answer though.

on the pace hub, one hole is for a qr, the non threaded one, and the other is for using bolts, the threaded one. the oval section is supposed to stiffen up suspension forks.

also the rubber seal is missing off your xtr rear hub.

price wise i would say you are about 30 to expensive (only commenting on price as the op asked mods ;)). if they were black or ceramics rims then you may get closer to the asking price.

I didn't realise that the rubber bit was missing but did think it looked slightly odd, when I put them in the how much is my xyz section I was told they should fetch over £100, so am after £100 plus however much postage is really but people are welcome to collect.

How much does the rear wheel weigh with out the cassette?

Hmm if I'm honest mate I wouldn't have a clue, I've not really got a way of getting the weight either
