Got a pair currently built up with shimano 105 (road) hubs. In vgc, very little wear. Wondering if it’s worth splitting...

130mm, late 80s (I think) but not sure which model. Screw on freewheel.

I was assuming the rims were more sought after on their own, hubs are certainly very decent though.

Sure thing... but then, if you use your imagination you won’t go far wrong. They’re low mileage with plain gauge stainless spokes... Braking surface isn’t worn, rims true, hubs smooth, no significant damage, slight lifting to the decals, need a clean.

I’m in two minds... not in a rush to sell as they’re currently sat on a rideable bike, but I was thinking about splitting and rebuilding...

It would mainly be to ID the year of the hubs to see if they are the correct year
