Wanted Mavic Ex729 rims and Hope Bulbs

Hi!

New to the forum.

I’m after pair of Mavic EX 729 rims on Hope Bulb hubs. 26” pre boost sizing.

If nobody has got complete wheels like this I would also be interested in separate rims and hubs that I can build up.

I've got a very very tidy set of black bulb hubs. I need to check but may have some nos Mavic rims, can't remember if they are 729s or 819s or something like that.

Which type are you after? There are three versions of Bulbs;
Mk1 - 5 bolt via a removable spider
Mk2 - 6 bolt with disc tabs going all the way to the flange
Mk3 - 6 bolt with truncated disc tabs, sealed at the inner end (as opposed to the Pro II which was open)

Now this is getting technical!

I’m building up Santa Cruz Bullit from 2003.

Originally I had 321’s on bulbs but I don’t know which type. Whichever ones were out in 2003/2004

I've got a very very tidy set of black bulb hubs. I need to check but may have some nos Mavic rims, can't remember if they are 729s or 819s or something like that.

They look good

They are in vgc, bearings smooth throughout. I may have changed them when I initially got the hubs as I usually do, but never got around to using them and they've sat bubble wrapped since. I can't remember as I've had them a while now.

I'll try and confirm what rims I have.
