Mavic 517 on hope mono xc front wheel, £22 posted REDUCED!

I bought this second hand on ebay last summer and used it for a couple of months until i could find a ceramic rim, the hub runs nice and smooth and has no play at all, the rim on the other hand has a slight flat spot - this was done by the previous owner, ideally it needs to be trued up by someone who knows what they are doing, it bobs up and down by about 1-2 mm and some of the spokes are showing threads where they join the nipple...

XC are disc

I don't really want a warped rim, but if you're saying that it's true sideways but not round, and the places where it is out of round are the places where the spoke threads are showing, then I guess I could chance it.

Is it a black rim or dark grey?

thats fair enough, it is rideable but just not perfect, im guessing that the areas where the spoke threads are showing are where the flat spot is, I dont know how to fix a wheel so I dont want to give it a go, Im pretty sure it could be done though with the right tools!

you want it then? the hub alone has to be worth £15-£20 hasnt it?
