Old School Hero
Much debating has been undertaken to finally decide to my trusty 32h XTR wheelset.
Very light, look great. I’ve not owned a a better wheelset.
XTR obviously speaks for itself.
The spokes are double butted DT
Nipples are anodised blue alloy.
The 217 ceramic is bafflingly lightweight, the x222 is fractionally heavier but completely negligible.
The ceramic surface has seen mainly road use in the last 10 years so no horrific surface damage, just used.
The rear wheel needs tensioning by someone competent. Namely not me. Otherwise they are ready to go.
Presta valves
I ran these with wildgripper lites and latex tubes and riding cross country was a dream
Pair £150 posted to mainland U.K.
I can split £80 posted front or rear.
