Maverick ML7 vs Klein Palomino

I had the Klein, my mate has two Mavericks. The basic suspension set up is the same as the 1st gen Maverick. The Klein uses a cheaper mono link with bushings compared to the magnesium link with bearings on the Mav. Maverick introduced a replacement bearing link for the Klein. The later Mav have a shorter front section to the monolink to alter the feel of the suspension.
Overall good bikes, but I prefer the feel of my Yeti

Klein factory did the welding on Maverick's frame.
>Then they decided to select the product geometry for their own range...
So bascally, geometry is same.
You got Klein Tubings and Klein's appeal with the Palomino
You got a better BB pivot system (mono-link) on the palomino since it's CNC machined and not aluminium caster...
Yet, I've a Palomino enhanced with the Maverickmonolink and it shines !
Some owners did the conversion...
Both bikes are great BUT I prefer Palominos...
It's the perfect XC-All mountain bike
