Maverick ML7 and ML7.2 rear shocks

mwrm13

Retro Newbie
I have two rear shocks from the venerable Maverick ML7. One is from the original version that is coil sprung with air damping, made by Fox. The 2nd is the 7.2 version that was air sprung and has a magnesium body.
I can't remember why I changed them but they should be useful for parts or may well work fine with some TLC.

£25 the pair, posted o.n.o.

Re:

I'm pretty sure they will fit the Palomino as that was licensed from Maverick at the same time that the ML7/7.2 was produced.

Re:

I believe that that are the same frames except that Trek shaved a few pennies on the Kleins and didn't use proper bearings. There was a Ti frame available at the same time (Litespeed I think but could be wrong).
MTBR is / was a good source of information on these.
Ethan Franklyn was the Tech Support Manager at Maverick and set up The Flow Zone servicing Forks and Shocks and supplying remanufactured parts for them.
Hope this helps.

Re:

I think it was Seven that made the ti version. It wasn't a pretty bike as it had straight tubes all round instead of the nice curved seat tube of the Maverick.
