I have a spare set of forks no bought these but won't be needing them as sold frame they were going on. They are bomber z5 flylight air, got 99 stamped on them so would say 1999 model, was told when bought them that they have 100mm travel, they are hard to move down but spring back up. I get confused moving the dials on them

1"1/8 and 179mm long

Want £60 for these

I may be wrong but seeing as they are air forks, I think the 'dials' you mentioned are just covers for the air valve caps... do you have a shock / fork pump? If so, unscrew the black covers completely and gradually let a bit of air out using the pump bleed button - this should reduce the amount of force you need to compress them... also giving the uppers a clean & lube will help reduce friction around the seals. Just trying to help, I have some Z4 flylight air forks and they are pretty good once you get the pressure right :)
