Guy's how do you service these forks and what tool will in need OR is there anyone who services these and what kinda price?
Cheers Guys
If by service you mean replace the seals then thats no problem at all and many here have done it using improvised tools
Tools needed-
Small flat screwdriver
Big flat screwdriver at least 12" (personally prefer square shaft as it spreads the load)
Gaffa/duck/sello/etc Tape
Piece of plastic piping to use as a drift, mostly to fit the oil seal but its helpful for fitting the dust seal too.[this requires work to bring it down to the internal bore of the lower, sandpaper does]
A freezer[as in fridge/freezer]
Little bowl to put fork oil in to bath the seals in prior to tapping them home.
Im guessing you already own a fridge freezer and the flat screwdrivers.
If you dont have any screwdrivers i suggest the problem is a deep one and you should go to 'old school mtb' where they know naff all either [
