what's the story with the steerer tube assemblage?

It’s got like a zero length stem attachment on it. Like a giant spacer. Never seen anything like it.

It’s a steerer tube extender - instead of going inside the steerer tube with a quill type assembly, it fits over the steerer. A not very elegant solution to a bike that doesn’t fit!

Everything is completely original

except for
* fork
*headseat
* gears
*brakes
* disc brake front wheel
*seatpost
*derailleurs
*stem/bars


so pretty much nothing apart from the frame and crank arms.

Somebody, please give that frame some justice-wrong stuff on so many levels. These frames are durable and can be used as intended, so deserve a loving touch rightly so.

What's the frame worth on its own tho
