Don't think it'll go for much more then the start price myself. What do you lot think? My pal's got his eye on it but thinks it'll go too high. :?
It seems cheap to me for such a high quality frame, forks, headset and stem in such exceptional condition. It it was a 1993 Explosif in similar condition, you might expect those parts to go for £125+£25+£15+£15 = £180, maybe more.
Although size 15 sounds small, it's just because Marin quoted size on a c-c basis. In Kona terms, just as an example, the c-c of the seat tube is the same as a size 18 and the c-c of the top tube is the same as a 1993 size 19. Suggesting it is for height 5-9 to 6-2, something like that, although a long post would be needed towards the upper end of that range.

i was thinking of going up to 180 with the postage, but its not as light as i was expecting it to be. i hoped it would be more like 150 posted tho, didnt expect much action with that start, but its likely someone will want that specific model badly.

I think the NOS Marin that you saw, Haggis, a few months ago was a Team Marin, not a Team Issue, and it was a 1996 in 18".
It went for £103 for F&F, so a starting bid of £130 for that 1993 Team Issue is pretty toppy imo, although it is gorgeous. If it was my size I'd definitely be in the running. As it is, I've dedicated all my time in the last few days to convincing the other half that she needs some retro in her life too.
