Hi, might be interested in the frame.

Exact sizing would be useful.

Whereabouts are you?

top tube from the centre of where it meets the seatpost tube to the centre of where it meets the headtube = 23''

seatpost tube from the centre of where it meets the top tube to the centre of the bottom bracket shell = 17.5''

not sure whether that makes the 19'' marin size the seller told me correct or not!

I'm based in Leeds, yorkshire matey

(excuse my poor attempt at straight lines with a mouse)

If you post the serial number it tend to give clues to the date.

It' not 1995 as it's the Bear Valley colour not the Team Marin colour, next best guess would be 1996. but I don't know what they look like.

the BB shell is stamped with:

60-10E and F16GAC035

BUILT in 1996, possibly July 20th (if CA is HEX) Maybe used in 1996 or 1997. Could be the same frame both these years
The '1' after the F would indicate top of the range steel frame, Team Issue...They could have used the same frame and dropped to XT.. would need to read the catalogue
'C' means it's a Marin 17" er 17.5" that year Centre to Centre, but would be classed as 19" if you add 1.5" to get centre to top to compare with others. Top tube length would be about 18/19" territory depending on what you're comparing it to. Surprised they're still setup for Canti's in 1997 though. But Marin didn't move to Ahead till quite late either.
