Marin Team Issue 1992

Here's my 1992 Team Issue.
With my first ever mtb being a 1992 Marin Eldridge - I was always going to be drawn back to that era. When the chance came to get hold of a 92 Team Issue frame then I had to go there and build my idea of my perfect bike.
I haven't gone full retro spec - more a mix of original, early millennium and British (with a bit of Mint Sauce thrown in).
It looks wicked and rides like I'm back in the early 90's!

I could say that I'm of Canadian heritage or admire the great nation...but no - the colours just matched my build and I'm a tart! I haven't seen another like it though.

Lovely bike. Love the touches of red detail. Thinking of doing something similar with my Pace.

My first proper MTB was a '93 Eldridge Grade (cheapest decent bike with XT RapidFire+ shifters -- none of this both levers with your thumb nonsense!), so totally get where you're coming from.

Love the Mint too!
