also what do you think of the polished magura's shal i continue or satin black them ??

Depends on what other bits you're using for the build, how well you can get them polished & whether you're going for an original look all-over or modified I would say

i have i think three modern items on the marin.. the freewheel as i wanted new drivechain and a modern hollotech xt chainset and michelin tyres )
spec will be ...
marin forks bars and stem
ritchey threaded headset
shimano exage country mechs and canti brakes
(unless i decide on using the maguras)
original araya rims and shimano hubs
will try and find marin saddle on here!!
club roost grips (only becaus the original sponge grips were superglued onto the bars :evil: :evil: and they got destroyed on removal)
and all original cables gear outers need replacing but again will try to scource from here
