Marin Mount Vision front mech - which type?

Looking on Ebay for an XT front mech for my latest restoration project, Marin Mount Vision 1997. The seat tube diameter is 34.9mm and the mech is bottom pull. The ones pictured seem to have the cable attachment point in a different place to the one on the bike, space is tight so I don't want to waste money buying the wrong type. Anyone know which sort I need to get?

Go for a top-swing type - that's what I've got on mine. Dunno if a bottom-swing type will work but as you say, it's pretty tight near the swingarm!
