Re-cycle is a charity that repairs unwanted/ donated bikes and ships them to Africa http://www.re-cycle.org/
The cycle mechanics that work for Re-Cycle are all volunteers and keen cyclists. Anything that is deemed 'specialist' is put aside and either cleaned, rebuilt and sold on the premises or ebayed - all profits going back to re-cycle.
I have a friend who works for re-cycle in Colchester, and knowing that I have a keen interest in 'Retro' had put a couple of bikes aside for me.
Unfortunately, I have too many projects/bikes at the moment but I offered to post here to see if there was any interest. :?:
As I have some spare bike boxes and have posted frames/ bikes before,
I have offered to act as the middle man and box up and arrange a courier
if needed.
A few points -
1)All monies from Sales go straight back to Re-Cycle
2)Prices are 'Sold as seen' without postage. PM me and I can calculate postage costs.
3) My friend does not have the time/ inclination to split these bikes. Please do not ask for splits or individual prices on parts.
