i need to sell this to raise funds for other projects..

for sale is a marin bear valley from 1989 in a 19 inch size.

The frame is tange chromoly steel tubing in a good functional clean condition, the paint has some blemishes and scratches. more pics are available on request

price is £182 posted or £160 collected

the spec is as follows

marin stem and handlebar, ritchey true grips

shimano 105 head set

deore dx chainset

dx slr cantilever brakes and levers

dx thumbshifters

dx caged pedals

biopace chain rings

deore xt rear mech

sport lx front mech

marin saddle

araya rx7 rear rim shimano 7 speed hub

shocktech front hub fir impes 192 front rim

Not buying, but how do you find the Tekro cable hangers? I'm thinking of buying some and would like a 'review' if you have the time.

they do the job no problem..i do like the onza chill pills though..but that might just be a looks thing..

i'd prefer it if someone bought it and rode it, i only just put it together..ridden it once...but i will break if i have to..

what sort of marin fork do you want? I have another one from an early nineties muirwoods..not sure i wanna part with it yet as it is still attached to the frame...

They changed in what apprears to be mid 90, mine had the earlier type (see pic below) I have the later type I can use (currently at Dave Yates having the thread extended ) but if I can get the correct ones that would be 8)

1" threaded, ideally for a 17.5" but defo with this drop out :
