Hi all and welcome to RBotM March 2022 - Open month this time so any and all welcome!

So all those lovely rides being made ready for spring just need a quick snap or two when out on the ride and a brief description, and you're in!
How simple is that? Fame and ...well, fame are awaiting, just a photo away ;)

OK - I will start - with a bike, which has been prepared for the first coming sunny days of Spring...

...this is my replica of the 1993 Ceramiche ARIOSTEA Teambike based on a Colnago Carbitubo equipped with a 8-speed Shimano DURA ACE downgraded with 2x8 down tube shifters ... riding such a Colnago lightweight bike Danish Bjarne Riis became 5th overall in 1993 Tour de France

I got this bike in terrible situation so many years ago. The restoration was one of my dream, which became true - the bike had been resprayed in Italy by professionals. All Lettering are sprayed not by decals - the only are the vertical Colnago letterings on the front of the fork

... I hope you will enjoy this beauty

It's a bit quiet in these parts this month so I'll contribute another carbon steed to the mix.

I hunted for a long time to find one of these with the red graphics (1990 only), in this condition with the original forks, and in my size (60cm C-T). This Epic showed up in Germany at the end of last year and had a hodge podge of 7 speed 105, Ultegra and some out of keeping wheels, stem etc. It had spent a large part of its latter life in storage hence why the frame is in such great condition. These only came Shimano equipped bitd, and as all my other rides are Dura Ace and I had a good nick Chorus chainset that hadn't seen service since '93, I went for a full Campag build for a change - Record 8 speed for the rest plus Campag Omega Strada rims, Nitto 65 seatpost, Specialized S2 stem, ITM Millenium bars, and topped with my favourite Flite saddle.

It rides super smoothly, gear changes are perfect though perhaps not quite as intuitive as the Shimano I'm used to, and is surprisingly stiff for a large early carbon frame.

go on then, my F.Moser Leader AX, think it's 1990, had it repainted as the pink/blue 1991(?) version as i much prefer that paint, built with a later campagnolo groupset as that's what i had available.

Holdsworth Cyclone , original unrestored condition. The Putney shop where I lived was run by my uncle John West. This 1966 model would have been hanging there when I was a teen age lad .
