These bikes have always been in my most wanted list ever since they came out They just have a huge cool factor - a combination of the brand, the name, the material, the look, the list goes on!....
Saw one of sale on Honolulu CL last year for $1000. I was very tempted to contact the guy, but living in Sweden, I found the logistics of the whole thing too complicated (maybe a holiday in Hawaii would have been the answer )

And thanks for the history Jeff, didn't know the thermoplastic story.

I have one Mantis Flying V hole alloy frame bike 18" with full XTR.
Race Face on all the rest components, Rock shox XL custom fork.
A stunning bike I bought as a frame back in 1995.
I placed an order for this frame but the norwegian importer didn't get it.
Sadly I really want one... Know that It can be found abroad, but I wanted a brand new one... Dream bike.....
