hi all
im in the middle of working my way through my rasta-themed kahuna project, and having seen the excellent results Gil had from these guys i was thinking about placing an order to get some bits done.
Im after red, gold and green colours, and wondered if anyone was up for jumping in and spreading the costs a bit? obviously the more people we could get the cheaper it would get.

heres an idea of what i ws thinking of getting done myself:
red - pauls brake/lever parts, real levers, outer ring, USE seatpost clamp
green - pauls parts, inner ring, seatclamp
gold - pauls parts, middle ring
probably a few other bits too...

might be worth considering other colours as well - imagine all the purple bling... :D
this is just a thought at the moment, but if people were keen i could get in touch with the company and ask for some quotes... dunno if they could send samples too?
would anyone else be up for some fresh colours??? :D

wish youd posted this a few weeks back :( ,ive sent loads of bits off to be done green, should get them back soon

gah! sorry! been at the back of me head for ages too. just out of interest, how much are you getting done, and what kind of cost are you looking at? (if thats not being too nosey! :D )

No worries,im getting this lot done green and a Ringle skewer in Black for £25,i cleaned/polished all of the parts myself though as i expect this would make it more expensive if they did it for you.

The bottle cage is just there for reference as i emailed them the pic for a quote

Nice! whats the best way to prepare stuff? or for a group should we let them take care of that and share the price?

I'm hoping to get a set of cooks cranks black ano'd at some point. Just waiting to see if I'll need amy other parts doing at the same time.

I cleaned mine with caustic soda then buffed them using fine scotch-brite cloth,i had the headset top polished for me in work as i wanted a very good finish on it,its up to you really if you have them polish the items, obviously the more intricate the item the more it will probably cost to polish, best bet is to get pics like i have from everyone who wants stuff done and send them all in the same email stating what needs polishing and what colour etc,(easiest way is to open the pics in paint and write over the pic with the specs of each part) and see what the prices come back as.

Depends on the green really, I'm wanting something pretty damn bright as opposed to what i've seen done in the past on here.

Also needing a bunch of stuff doing black so I may be interested.
