Manitou EFC Cartridge Help

Hello

Need some help servicing Manitou EFC.

Got as far as getting the stanchion with the cartridge inside but can’t work out how to get the cartridge out and serviced. Not sure where to put oil in. All feels a bit gritty.

Anyone out there got an idea what to do. ?

Yes - I’ve looked at the manual and it might as well be in Chinese.
