Manitou Dorado Decals ?

hey guys im after a set of 2002-2004 manitou decals, i just got a set of the blue ones that came stock on giant dh team bikes back in 2004/2005 and for the retro build im doing i need the red ones.

Is there anyone that makes them or a place i could get some ?

sadly this is a reply i had from manitou:

Unfortunately we don't have any of those decals left nor do we have the artwork. Those forks were made by the old Manitou before they went out of business. We have none of the old vector art for old decals. Lost in the sands of time I am afraid.


Has anyone ever tried scanning stickers or giving them to a graphic designer to work there magic and produce new ones as thats the stage Im at im thinking

I guess your best bet would be to try and remove the current ones, scan them in and send them to someone like Gil_M, so that the colours can be matched.

As a long shot, try Hotlines who used to import them. You never know, they may have a set knocking about.
