Manitou 3 question..... stuffed or not

just got a Zaskar LE with some manitou 3's

when i press manitous down there is a hissing noise, like air escaping, and about 2cm of downward movement before the suspension kicks in

Are they stuffed?

i get that hissing sound on mine and the are fine , but it sounds like some of your elastomers are shot

yeah i just removed the top caps and the elastomers are like dust. (not all but some) also one of the rods the elastomer stack is on is a lot shorter than the other - i'm guessing that isnt normal?!?

The Zaskar was descibed on the auction site as rideable - so far the forks are stuffed and the front ringle hub has a split flange and 3 spokes hanging out - not happy :evil:

both should be equal lengths , about 7 inches if memory serves me right

elastomers should be on order soon
