.

I watched it on tv last night :D
Really enjoyed it, stand out performance for me was Gerraint Thomas
If what the commentator said about his lack of practice was correct, it was an amazing effort :D

Being there live was something else - for the evening session we were sat at the start of the home straight - the noise for Geraint, Jason Kelly, and the girls pursuit (and the other brits) was indescribable - voice is still hoarse more than 24hrs later.

Sometimes you have to put the camera down, remember what is important and be part of it. :D :D :D :D :D

That is soooo true. I went to see the Mighty Boosh a while back and was pissed right off with all the twats too busy filming it on their phones to actually listen to the jokes. Knackered the atmosphere.

It is daft, cause they are filming it for DVD anyway so you can catch all that later.

It seems more important to get it up on YawnTube to some than actually experience it.

Bit like some people travelling, I have met so many who just seem to be in India to have been there. No interest in the experience.

Great pics by the way! Really convey the speed and motion.

:)

Just got back from a hectic week with the (inexperienced) Danish team who did better than we expected and we nearly missed the ferry from hull as a result of them qualifying for the TP finals.

Consensus from the riders and staff alike was that the British crowd is the best on on the whole World Cup Circuit and everyone downed tools to watch the british riders just because of the immense audience reaction.

It was hard work - 15 hour days for a week. But really glad I came along.

Got some pic's of the Danish pit area - you may be featured...most of you seem to be wearing black polo shirts - took me a while to find you as I was looking for red & white. :-)
