Was lookin at an article on the internet on making carbon fibre parts at home and didn't look that hard, anybody got any thoughts, or experience?. Was thinking non strutrual stuff obviously like fork guards for my upside downers and thinks like rear mech plates just simple ish stuff

I had a friend who worked for a carbon fiber manufacturer. And he said it was quite easy (i was an anodizer for 2 weeks and thats easy) But as i under stand it the change in design that can be problematic. Un-like steel for example. My friend had a U brake under the chain stay. He went to a welder and they moved the boss to canti on the seat stay - easy. But no way i could do that with my Trimble.
But the design still has to be good. As anther friend bought a pair of carbon forks from him and big time crash.
