Brrr...
Luckily we live in the woods, and they've been cutting trees down all over.
I have an agrreement with the Ranger; if I can remove fallen wood without using anything powered.
We haven't had the heating on since the first snow, but have had a couple of oak logs smouldering permanently, night and day.
