Magura TPA disassembly/replacement?

Can anyone help with some instructions on taking apart and rebuilding magura TPA adjusters? I think they're the earlier style, with the adjuster in the lever blade.

There doesn't seem to be anything in the manual or in the RB archive, and I don't want to force them or do it wrong for fear of breaking them (if they're not already )

thanks!

and another question... on HS33 brakes, can I use either a shroud nut and olive OR a barbed fitting?

just unscrew them iirc, then they just come apart.

Quite obvious or at least I didn't have to think about it, think it may have been lever bolt off fist to take the lever off.

thanks. just unscrewing them they seem to come to a point where they don't want to unscrew anymore, i?m not sure if turning them more will break them?

In the manual there doesn't seem to be a detailed explanation of the tpa assembly, or how to replace it

can't think who that was

that was the first place I checked this morning... nothing there on the TPA that I could find though

I stopped by the LBS this afternoon - he has shimano hoses complete with the barbed fittings, olives and shroud nuts (turns out I need to use all 3 of those bits  ) for little more than a tenner, so a fair bit cheaper than the magura equivalent and a lot easier to get hold of.

Any idea if the threads on magura and shimano shroud nuts are the same? or if I could just use the shimano barbs and olives, and my existing magura shrouds?

Also, I see magura sell rim brake and disc brake specific hoses - what's the difference? Can I use a (shimano) disc brake hose on magura rim brakes?

As you can probably tell, I have no idea at all about hydraulic brakes

thanks!

I think you need to use shroud nut and olive where they go into the pistons but but barb is OK where it goes into lever body. At least on hs11s

I also know little and have spent a few hours tonight bleeding a hs11 without getting it to move at all!

Re:

You can pull the pistons out to clean and grease them.

It was all new to me a dew months back. I think Shimano are a larger fitting.
Tartybikes have info on their parts and trials forums to.
