Yes, I'm going to copy the flat plate ones from an original set.
I don't like to make too exact copies as they could be taken as fakes of the originals, not repro.
Those that know will be able to distinguish them, but they'll be close enough.
Rear-mounted Magura mounts or front-mounted cantis, and the machines alu plugs in the top.
Tubing might have to be something other than 531, depends on availability. I've not verified the spec of the butts yet...
28.6mm diameter same as the 2nd gen, which had the machined alu dropouts bonded in.
I'm not 100% sure about the later ones, but looks like they should be good to around 1997.
I'll be able to make them with the extra length (390mm for the earliest to 420mm Axle to crown in 1997).
