Magura Hydraulics - on a U Brake mount????

Rob,

I have some spare mounts if you want to/need to practice with filing etc.

Drop me a PM if you are interested.

Cheers,

MArk

Quick question - would the new Maguras with the EVO mount fit as well? Got a possibility of buying a set.
Cheers.

I don't think you'll be able to fit the Evo mounts upside down - I'm open to being proved wrong about this though......

Yes Evo mounts wouldnt work upside down, as the Evo bracket wouldnt be able to be used, but you could buy them and get some old mounts off here and still get to use the cylinder and lever part.

I've got some on my Zaskar, excellent brakes. I highly recommend getting some but make sure you have the brake booster!

Here's mine up and running, I've tested a bit but not in anger yet, lever feel is good, frame flex is minimal, pad alignment is perfect.

So do I use the new canti studs (that arrived in the post today) and proper magura bolts or leave as is? As light and sexy as the ti studs are, I think it's probably more secure as is with the modified stainless bolts. The washer on the stud is the normal magura boss washer and is needed otherwise the mount won't sit properly and the top of the stud would protrude from the mount and the bolt wouldn't do anything.
