Very, very nice. These have come off a bike that I bought, but they don't suit the build I'm planning

They are pewter/black, and have some red hardware. These are in really nice condition, work well, and have pads with some life left in them.

Great for an early Pace or a singlespeed!

SOLD on ebay for £37 posted UK Mainland

Hi,
Do the brakes come with everything needed to fit them to a bike (e.g. nut, bolts, mounting plate, booster etc.)?
Sorry if it is a dumb question, but I don't have any experience with these brakes.
Cheers,
Mark

Not in the pic and needed are hourglass bolts, seller may have these but if not ChainReaction sell them cheaply. Boosters are not necessary either...........i've been running a set since 1991 without e booster.

Thanks for that. Does that mean I don't need a mounting plate either?

P.S. I am thinking of putting these on a steel framed (rigid fork) single speed that I have just built up (& am fed up trying to get the adjustment on v-brakes right!). Would these suit?

These are the parts you need AFAIK....get a second opinion though

It's been ages since I moved mine (they work so well :) ) but you don't need the hourglass unless you want quick release (see left and right side of drawing below) and you only need one quick release at front and one on back (enough to remove the wheel fast).

An alternative is to bolt them both onto the canti studs (like left hand side of drawing below), it just takes a little longer to get them off.

Mark, these came straight off the bike, and were working fine, all parts to fit to bike are included. I don't really know much about these, but they are the 22's not the 33's. If the booster and Quick release were available for the 22's, they are not essential. PM me if you are interested.
