Magura Brake help

So I've just got hold of some hydraulic brakes and tried to fit them, but they touch the rims no matter how I position them.
I think the problem is with the rims. They are very wide.

Is there an adapter out there that makes the brakes sit slightly wider or are these brakes and those rims never going to work?

How do you mean? Left and Right? Tried that. The pads catch on the QR.
Maybe I'm doing it wrong..

There is a wide and narrow setting for maguras

What about if I swapped L&R over and moved the QR onto the opposite side?
That would eliminate it catching on the pads?

This is the angle I have to fit them to clear the wheel.
It's stupid. Barely any rubber makes contact.
I'm still toying with the idea of flipping L&R over and the QR to the opposite side..

The middle connecting hose looks to short, far to close to the tire. Here are one pair of mine. May help?

It might be a bit on the tight side, but it would be better if my brakes weren't sitting in a V shape.
If I can get the brakes aligned right, I'll look into hose lengths later.
