Hi folks,
I discovered a problem with my rear brake on the first descent on the Retro Ronde on Sunday. Basically, the front of the top of the lever body where the barrel adjuster drops in is missing, meaning that the adjuster just gets dragged in to the lever body as soon as I apply any lever pressure. I had to finish the ride with just a front brake, but I suppose I should at least be grateful that it's the rear brake that was stuffed rather than the front! Shame I didn't notice it when the bike was up on the workstand on Saturday ...
Anyway, I'm looking for a single MAFAC Competition lever, like this:
I don't need the clamp, adjuster or hood, simply the bare lever. I daresay I could even re-use the existing lever blade in case anybody just has a lever body, or perhaps one with a crash damaged blade.
Anything lying around in anyone's spares box?
Cheers,
Gareth.
