Made some changes. 2000/2001 Serotta CHT - a lesson in titanium

As ever, I can’t sit still so I made some more changes.
Shorter fork, tyres, saddle and decals.

It looks like a whole new bike.

Looks very very good👍
I'm surprised by the thumbshifter though - I'm sure there is a reason shimano didn't pursue it for mtb.

Do you worry about the point loads on those carbon rails from the USE post clamp?
A lot of saddle clamps have a trough to support the rails, which would spread the load.

A good question. I was considering filing out a little more of the troughs to fit the rails but the top parts of the clamps (the two darker parts in shot) seem to fit ok.

I could just find a Tune and use that.

Speed Needle - best saddle ever (for my butt) - was also thinking that (almost) no padding on a saddle is not rideable - until I tried - now I have them on 2 bikes and even after riding one of the bikes for 8 hours - 3 days in a row - I had not any kind of problem with the butt - dont ask me about my legs ;)

back to topic: Serotta is top notch and I am always curious where you found all those tyres which are not just black or skinwall. I also have a soft spot for those tyres - Wildgripper in green and Corratecs Diamant Grip in yellow are my favorite.
