bit wierd tho

any further info on them ?

take it its colonialism type thing

They were published by a greek in 1917 and drawn in 1916 by a native egyptian who wanted to show the colonialists in a humorous light, they seem to do what he intended in a subtle way...I just think that he has stereotyped his own people, anyway they are worth about 200/300 as a complete set 8)

I find them amusing as they remind me of gollywogs

well that will teach you to eat at the computer! These are bloody random! The first one, at the time didnt macretro hate the err man in the middle? there is a kid there sporting an early version of ronaldos 'short change' haircut!
