machine tech brake levers - info

Just source some of these and they look great but I've no idea if they are for v, canti or both, so can anyone confirm?

Also, with the lack of a sprung return in the lever, are there any tricks to setting these up, or a way of retro fitting a spring if needed?

The ones I have sport a dial in the lever that imply you can adjust the amount of cable pull, but is that what it is really for?

Advise and help appreciated.

I don't nearly nothing about the Machine Tech levers but here is the little that i know.
These ones are for cantilevers:

Get some pics up of yours. Hopefully someone can answer the other questions so i can have a look at the answers when i have sourced myself a pair.

I had a set for v brakes for a short time and they were sprung... Very nice levers.

Mine are the same as pic 1 so canti then I guess. Anyone shed any light on setting them up, whether they are ant good etc. I plan to use them with some controltech cantis, so if anyone has any specific experience with this combination, so much the better.

I know there's a difference between canti & V levers and I have a pair of the machine tech canti brake levers. Might be a daft question but can they be used with disc brakes?
