OK, let's start sourcing some bits for the latest build.

Shimano m970:
Shifters,
Rear mech, (long cage)
Front mech, (34.9 I think)
Crankset,
Cassette, (or will take m960)

Thomson stem (31.8
Thomson post (30.9 straight)

Also some rockshox sids

26" wheel, straight 1 1/8 steerer, qr dropouts
In blue, something around the 2005 to 2008 ish era

Here's a few pics of what I've got.

There's 2 groups. One is all the m970 bits you've mentioned and the best condition wise.

The first group is all in vgc. Cranks have the typical logo wear but rings are decent

The other is a smaller collection of some of the parts. Rear shifter in this set is all good, the pair a previous owner decided to modify the shifter mounts. Still work but a bit random. I was going to use them with hope mounts so wasn't a bother for me. Rear mech has a slice on the inside of the cage, but not all the way through, mech hanger may be slightly out of alignment. Cranks are decent, just logo rub, and there's a set of lightly used m970 specific outer and middle. May have the inner somewhere, have a standard possibly new m970 or m980 one.

Not had a chance to look for stems yet but I know I have some.
