I'm over 8st and can confirm I look dreadful in lycra. Needs must though and its not like I wear it for anything other than cycling. But then I'm middle aged so any sporting kit looks awful on me. Was going to say except snooker but even then I just look like a tramp in half a suit.

I always wear it for riding, even for the 10 miles to work.

It's comfortable for the purpose, doesn't chafe and dries quickly. No brainer for me, at 12 stone. I think more than 8st is a bit harsh

Your hardly an out of shape 12 st. agree what he said about 8 st was very lads mag

I gave up wearing baggies it just gets in the way.
