Well it might bring you luck on the trails....collected 2002, my only time on a plane ! because of my fear of flying.......all was ok untill we came into land in San Francisco(lots of buffeting and a child sreaming ''we're all going to die'' not what i wanted to hear after such a long virginal flight)

Any way bottle of Mt.Tam dirt Marin county trail map inc the off road trails 2001 a copy of tube times and pedal press (local stuff)

Can you put a price on such sacred earth !!! ??? yes I can, may try on ebay if no takers here, open to offers under £30.00 (i got to put A price up !) That is me holding the little bottle up.

All photo's are not inc, just for proof Sure the Germans would pay for this kinda stuff

Whether you sell it or not, you have definitely got the Award for the most Original/Obscure MTB For Sale Item!

But since you collected this in 2002, shouldn't you have posted in the For Sale & Wanted 1998 --> Section?

But since Mt Tam was beleived to have been uplifted in an event 50million years ago, it fits squarely in Pre '97

I was gonna say that dirt is pretty old dirt.....

Although technically, seeing as the retro section is from 0AD->97, and this predates it quite considerably, it should really have a "Pre Retro" section all of its own

It was quite funny on the way back home too. We booked a taxi at like, 6.30 am /our flight was at 9.00am. The girlfriend at the time liked to be early.

Well the taxi driver had worked out if he drove really slowly he could get all of his pickups to the airport in one slow go, instead of back and forth a few times (people carrier)

So at like 8.50 we get to the airport.......the nice people send us straight through...............BUT security has another idea.....STOP ! they challenge my girlfriend at the time about the bottle of water she is carrying ! DRINK IT IF IT'S WATER ! the girlfriend said '' but i'm not thirsty '' Drink it '' i can't'' (she was panicy to say the least and couldn't swallow) '' I'll drink it '' I said and walked towards her..........i was told to freeze ! and they made her drink it almost in tears !

Funny really as leaving the UK our bags did not get searched (9/11 was still fresh on peoples minds)
Yet leaving the country they saw us as a possible threat. Funny now
