Was really excited when I finally got one. Didn't have bushes so I bought brand new BETD ones along with the tool to fit the new bearing. Got it all fitted, adjusters both work nicely and actually make a difference. Then I test rode off a large kerb....clunk. The top of the shock hit my seatpost on full travel. Tried adjusting the trunnion mount but to no avail. Turns out the shock was for the DH model and had too much stroke for my 97.

Gutted.

So here I am trying to recoup some of my losses. Shock is in good condition for it's age and has a 550 spring. Top has a couple of wear marks from previous owner (possibly contact with saddle rails when seatpost down)? Adjusters work and no oil leaks. Like I said above, bearing and bushes are brand new. Guy I bought it from gave me a photocopy of manual which will be included.

Looking for £105 posted, and will include bearing tool and spare bearing for an extra £20 (it cost £28.50 and has been used a grand total of once).

Thanks, Steven.

I've got a shorter stroke shock of exactly the same specification if you want to swap...

I've got an LTS DH and did the same as you except I've got too short a stroke shock. (In fact I've got two!!)
