I know what you mean. My current 'get out' is seeing a set of forks that I absolutely cannot live without, then realising they have a tapered steerer. It happens quite a lot with Fox forks which is good for the bank account.

See with those bloody tapers, its just too good a deal to ignore.
I keep looking at the bargain basement clearance deals on frames my size with tapering headtubes.
My rational is if i can find one cheap enough with a BB30 and tapered headtube i can waste more money on the highly reduced stuff in crc/on one etc but because im saving a veritable fortune i can justify it.

You just cannot escape it. Need more self control than ive got


I think it best we keep in mind you cannot take it with you and the vultures get it anyway :?
