low travel (63-80mm) sus forks

I've got a pair of 1998 Rock Shox SID's if you fancy. Would let them go for £50 inc. postage, as they've got non standard internals (didn't know this when buying, so making a big loss on these), judy ones I think, with a cartridge in either leg. Suppose this at least means there's less to go wrong!

The steerer is slightly on the short side at 163mm long. Cosmetically they're in good shape, haven't got the standard stickers however. No disc mount.

Let me know.

Edit: Axel to crown is around 405mm.

anything as long as it works, is 1"8th ahead and has an a to c of around 390mm

got about 30 to 50 to spend WHY?

That'll be 405/410 axle to crown in suspension forks then, so max around 2" (50mm) travel.

what length steerer do you want ?

Hang on now you've altered the title.

63 to 80mm are a lot longer at 420+ and would be classed as Long Travel in the mid 90's

What's it for ?

oh i dont know anymore

they are for a 99 p7. the forks on there have an a to c 0f 390mm and feel perfect so want something roughly the same.

Rigid forks of 390mm ? I would have thought for a 1999 bike a 420mm fork length would be on it (rigid)

Suspension for that year would be around what you are asking for in your title then.

anyways, I'm lost and probably confusing thing (though just trying to make sure you get the correct length of fork) Maybe someone who knows these bikes can help better.

edit just to help give an idea it's the very early forks that are <16" (405mm) in length and not all of them, later version e.g. Judy's /manitou3 etc are longer a to c. PACE iirc where on the long side of a2c
